July was a scorcher! We had several doctor appointments, I had a week long online training, and we got to spend time with Liam who came to visit here and his Granny for 2 weeks. We passed him back and forth every few days.
Trying to stay cool in the water and in the shade.
I only let Canyon swing in the sun for 30 minutes a day but he is pretty good about not going out there until after 2 when the trees shade him.
Evenings we either had a swing or a trike ride.
So, Canyon got a trike! It's a 2 seater so he can have a buddy ride with him. He loves it but 30 minutes in this heat and you are soaked with sweat.
We went to the lake's visitors center for some cool fish, bee and turtle viewing in the air conditioning. The meltdown was due to me not allowing him to climb into the turtle water.
Apparently we could not have a meal without them each watching their own thing on their tablets.
Liam was mimicking Canyon's way of playing with the cars.
Hippie turned 8!
When Sahara came back to collect him we checked out the new splash pad and playground.
He was so brave not having mom or dad or home for 2 weeks. He did great!
He was happy to have his mom back ❤
