A Holly Jolly Time

Art Walk and Holiday Glow.

We went to dinner for the last time at Old Bank. It's a shame because we only have one restaurant like this in town. After ordering our food we waited 1 hour and 20 minutes before it arrived at our table. It's a very busy night during Art Walk but they know this and were not at all prepared. The booth next to us got up and left after waiting a hour. The table of 5 next to us were comped their whole bill.  We were given 50% off. To me it wasn't good enough as we weren't able to enjoy any of the Art Walk and only had time to walk over and find a place for the fire works to start.

The fire works were amazing as usual!

Liam, Ranger, and Malaki went to see Santa.

Another evening with River Valley Abilities.

He made a few Christmas ornaments and liked the cup stacking.

There were several other games like indoor snowball toss, karaoke, and sling shots.

He finally ringed a tree on the last of 10 tosses!

We went to the Russellville Christmas Parade. It was good but shorter than usual and less bands this time.

Old cars are Canyons favorite but none had flaming tailpipes this time.

We went to the BOST Christmas party for spaghetti dinner and Canyon got a small gift stocking.

I got everything ready and wrapped. It's all heading up to Centerton with Sahara this weekend.

We almost didn't get to see Santa for the 1st time in 25 years but we found him and Mrs. Claus!!

Christmas fun with friends at Hampton.

Sahara, Jared, and Liam came to pick up Canyon and go to see Dad and Rita.

Then we headed up to their house where Nana and Papa and Kristy had arrived for Christmas in NWA. They were up there before us and went to Crystal Bridges.

We had an early birthday dinner for Misty at Crabby's.

We had a swim at their hotel pool and enjoyed the hot tub.

We walked the Osage Trails and ate lunch at Louise at Thaden Field in the airport.

We got the house ready for Christmas morning and Santa was caught doing his thing.

While waiting on family from the hotel, we opened Santa gifts and stockings.

I did not get many gift unwrapping photos.

Time for Christmas grub!

The next day it was time for Kristy to leave.

Another dinner out and a short stroll through Bentonville Square.  It was really cold.

We went to Onyx Cave. Getting there was fun on this long single car bridge.

Then to Eureka Springs where we had lunch and tried to shop but it was too cold.  Flakes started to fall.

We did get some chocolates.

Liam found two happy and comfy shoppe cats.

The Blue Zoo was next on the list for indoor activities.

Liam was hysterical playing with a new toy.

Then it was time for Nana and Papa to head out.  Back to Misty's house for a fudge and cherry cake Sahara made.

Then we had to blow out the candles again so all could participate.

Liam sang me happy birthday all week.  I think he was trying to get on my good side for some reason but it was too cute.
