Galveston Bound

Finally got a family gathering put together for this summer.

😁

Liam had his first plane ride.

He was not much a fan and slept most of it.  Then he slept on the bus and in the car too.  Then he threw up so not a great travel day for him.

Canyon on the other hand is a travel trooper! Hauling multiple bags throughout the airport, on the bus and to the car.  He also handles the chaos of TSA like a pro.

Somewhere over Texas.

This is our casa on Pirate Beach for the next week. We picked a good one!

We made it!!

He loves the beach and is a waterbug.  I think he might be a keeper after all. 😅
Sand toys were a hit for him.  He loved digging in the sand with the shovel.  He was not intimidated with the waves but also was good about not going in past his ankles.

We also grocery shopped and made spaghetti for dinner.

We made drinks called Malibu Floats aka Island Bois aka Texas Rainbows

Moody Gardens Aquarium.
Liam loves aquariums like his Nana.

I could live in the jelly fish room. It's so calming and cool.  They are so beautiful just suspended in the water.

Then we had lunch in the cafeteria at Moody Gardens.  Next was the Rain Forest.

I was waiting for Liam to jump out of his stroller to see this guy.

It was super muggy in here and some how we got way ahead of the folks.

Back at the beach! Jared, Caleb, and Papa went golfing.
Luckily we had all green flag days and 1 yellow flag day and no rain this week!

Sahara and Liam...so far out there and only thigh deep.

Rainforest Cafe for dinner.

All 10 of us shared this 1 volcano dessert and there was plenty for everyone.

That's my sister for ya!

Pleasure Pier

Liam was only allowed on 4 rides and the ferris wheel was one of them.  That was high enough.

This ride was way too scary.  I couldn't even watch!
Aunt Kristy said Canyon loved it.

It was soooo hot today.  We went on a log ride and got completely drenched.  Sahara and Liam got soaked too in the splash zone.

Emily left for Greece today. We shopped some more, ate at Nick's Kitchen (which in my opinion was better than Rainforest Cafe)
After souvenir shopping, we went back to the Rainforest Cafe to ride on the River Adventure.  It was good.  They should have them at all the Rainforest Cafes.

After dinner at Nate's, last pictures on the beach.

Card games which happened every night.

And before we knew it, it was time to pack up and go home again.

FUN TIMES!
