Canyon's B-Day #24 - UPDATED

We headed out a whole mile down the road to go to the Middleton Family Pumpkin Patch.  Some of Jared's family went too.

Liam loved pretty much everything about the place and really seems to love being a farm boy when he gets a chance.

They have big culvert pipe slides.

The corn maze was in better shape this year.  Really tall and lots of corn still growing on them.  We only took 1 wrong turn and Canyon got way ahead of us.

The duckies with the water trough pumps are a lot of fun.

There were tons of other things I didn't get pictures of like the hay ride, sling shot, swingy thingy, hamster wheels, basketball toss, tractor pit, little kids barn...

Then we got pizza and went home for a couple hours.  Next we went to Jared's family's house for dinner, cheese cake, and gifts.

They took some spins on the go-cart.

Then we headed to Walmart so Canyon could do a 'fill the basket' shopping spree.  I think this will be a yearly thing.  He liked to pick his own things but did have to be directed a bit.  At least he isn't the type that would put 6 $85 playstation games in the basket or a Nintendo switch!

He scanned everything and we had to get help because he hesitated and the shirt scanned 3 times.

His basket haul was 1 Razorback t-shirt, 1 Razorback mug, 1 8 pack of hot wheels, 1 single hot wheel, 1 coke, 1 dr. pepper, 2 bags of chips, and 3 king size candy bars.

It was a pretty good day-long birthday.  He is bringing 2 bags of candy to Hampton to share out on Monday for his actual b-day.

A few late cards and gifts but just as much appreciated!

Road Trip to Prairie Grove

Bright and early Saturday morning, we met Susan and headed to meet Sahara and Liam in Prairie Grove at the Junk Ranch.  It's a craft, antique, decor outside fair held yearly and it's really big.  It's also really over-priced and we ended up not getting anything.  A couple years ago I saw a cool dragon but it was expensive.  I decided if I find that artist again, that dragon is coming home with me.  Unfortunately, no dragons this time. They had food trucks there but we decided to go to a pizza place in town instead.

Across the street from the pizza place was an old church and grave yard.  The church was built in the 1830's.  We found graves with death dates in the 1850's.

Sahara and I could have spent another hour here and Liam was content brushing freshly mowed grass off the stones but I don't think it was up Susan's alley to hang out here.
Sahara is staying at Mecca and Zack's for the time being and she said it's way too 'quite' there so maybe some one will attach and follow them home. 😉
It's the 1st day of the thin vail of October so ya never know.

We've decided to visit more while the weather is nice.
