Liam's Jawsome 2nd Birthday

It was a pretty hot day but we ended up getting the whole picnic area. 

He chews on his whole hand when he is nervous.

The shark tattoos where a hit but he didn't get his fast enough.

Lots of people came from far and wide. 

The rain stayed away.

It was a great birthday.

Lake Burn

My goal for the end of summer and even during the first part of the school year was to hit the lake beach each Sunday before the church people were turned loose.  We made it 2 weeks and then had to put on the breaks for getting too burned.  Luckily Canyon stayed in the water submerged so he did ok.

 

I checked the UV report and it was a 5.  I figured that was low enough to not get burned but I was wrong.  It was 11 in Galveston and I didn't burn.  It's been 2 weeks since we went and I am just about recovered.  Only the top of my forehead and nose did any peeling.  

My Corner

I got my corner set up for the new school year.  I found Muppets that were unused deep in a closet I cleaned out so I put them to use.

 Year 21!
