Halloween Shenanigans

Halloween usually last several days to a week here.  From Fall Fest in downtown Russellville to the last party at the Spring Lake house.  We end up wearing our costumes many times.

At Fall Fest, I wasn't sure what our costumes were going to be yet for this year.  My mind was still swirling from the wedding. Canyon's shirt today actually gave me the idea 4 days from Halloween as to what we were going to do.

Some of Canyon's favorite cars.

And my Nash Metro!

We ate REALLY greasy corn dogs from a food truck (never again) and listened to music.  There were tons of craft vendors too.

Next we carved our pumpkins.  Slim pickings 3 days from Halloween but they were very fresh.

Canyon practiced what he wanted his face to look like.

Finally deciding on costumes, we head to the Bost party.

They did a great job decorating the halls in the office and had trick or treating through them.

We snacked and Canyon danced.

Halloween night was a wash-out.  It rained all day and night.  We went to the Pottsville Lodge for games and of course Canyon braved the rain for a close up of the cop cruiser and rescue truck.

Then I had costume day at work and a party.  I decided against wearing the Rudolf blinky nose because it has to be restarted every 15 seconds and it is hard to breath with.

Last, we went to the Spring Lake house a few days later for the annual family Halloween party.  Bigger then ever.

Canyon participated in the games.  Look at how well he is getting the water in the bucket!

He got an apple! -yes, he cheated :)

Finally, Fall Fest, 3 parties later, plus actual Halloween night and we can call this Halloween done!
