We were so excited that we saw our neighbor's truck in the parking lot when we got there. They moved in across the street, but speak limited or no English so we really haven't gotten to know them. This is Canyon and our neighbor Poncho. He is a year younger then Canyon.
These are the Pottsville Athletes (minus 1 that showed up about 20 minutes after group pictures were taken.)

Taken from the bleachers, this is a little blurry. Canyon moved up from the tennis ball toss to the soft ball throw.
He was so quick to throw the ball the second they gave it to him I barely got a picture at all. This was a little high and short!
Getting 2nd place for the soft ball throw (which they divide them up and in this case 2nd was actually last....but that doesn't matter.)
Here is his ribbon and a star for AWESOMENESS
After the threatening gray clouds gave away to sunshine, the sunblock was passed out. Canyon rubbed it in his eye and was not a happy camper for awhile.
Got to LOVE the wind up for the long jump. This is Canyon's favorite event. And he is a crowd pleaser!!
I straightened this video on my computer but it loaded here sideways again :(
Perfect landing for his first jump!
He got 4th this time, but again, it is out of 4. So we will have to see and wait if we go to state next month.
(by the way, the kid next to him...he has never seen or met in his life...but that's what it's all about isn't it!?!
We woke up at 6 to head to Conway and by noon we are done. Poncho and Canyon are ready to go home with their ribbons !!
