Since Jared is working a 12 hour shift both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, we had to split things up a bit.
Christmas Eve we had dinner and took Family jim-jam pictures.
Then we set up for Christmas Day and the Big Guy was caught in the house!
Canyon and Liam got to see and open what Santa brought the next morning.
The rest of Christmas would have to wait til the evening.
So we had our traditional cinnamon rolls, colored Sahara's hair, and went to the Cross Church pond to walk around.
Finally, Jared got home and it was time for gifts!
Looks like a lot of loot!
The next day we went to the Heart Lights for the last time. The owner had fallen from the roof this year installing them and cracked his head open and broke nearly every rib. He was in a coma but managed to pull through and was back home for Christmas.
We also caulked the kitchen and master bath at their house, did a bit of after Christmas shopping, and hung up the screen door they got for Christmas. Also, this easy install door took 3 people 2 hours and was a PAIN with incomplete directions and the wrong drill bit sizes but we got it!
Then Canyon and Mom went home and Canyon had 2 more gifts to open that weren't ready in time to take with us.
Wow! I don't recommend waking up and not getting to open gifts until the evening again. That made a long day of waiting and will be really hard when Liam gets a bit bigger. We're better off just changing the date and doing the whole Christmas on the 27th or something. But, we survived and had a great time up in Bentonville. Thank you everyone for the love!
