April - Get Togethers, Baseball, Easter, Russellville Cruise, Hippie Adventures, Liam's Daycare

Canyon went to 2 sensory days at the library and bike night.

Baseball started and it was a great 1st game. We were so happy Logan was well enough to play too.

Almost all our eggs cracked when we boiled them but we dyed and ate them anyway.

So much loot!

Then off to the farm for animals, dinner, and an egg hunt.

Forrest the donkey is so friendly.

We went to the Russellville Cruise Night. It wasn't as big as it was in the past but rain was predicted so we only stayed until sundown anyway.

Hippie pulled a fast one on my lawn guys. Some how he got out of his collar and went on a run-about in the hood. They tried to catch him but Hippie had other ideas. I was laughing at work watching it all play out on the garage cam. 1 guy falls down, another takes his shirt off to wave it around. 😂

I ended up having to go home at lunch to get him contained again.

He also got his summer hair body ready.

Liam's Daycare issues aren't getting a break.  First his old daycare up and closed without warning and now a car drove through the new one.  It looks like a window (to the baby room) and brick wall were taken out. 1 baby was taken to the hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.

March - Star Fall Ball, Sewer Issues

Sahara and Kallie went to the Starfall Ball in Little Rock. They said it was a great experience and had a blast.

Another girl there had the same dress as Sahara in a different color.

After the ball they went to a drag show.

The fiber optic people came through 2 weeks ago and apparently busted my sewer line. Of course I found out about it on a Saturday afternoon. I managed to get ahold of the city manager and explained that my neighbor had the same issue the week before and sure enough, right under my driveway too like theirs.

Now I have a funky patch in the driveway.

For 24 hours we had to be crafty with how we used the bathroom.

February - Blocks, Night to Shine, Valentines and Loss, and Ice Storm, Fiber in the Hood, New School

 Canyon got K'NEX for Christmas (he picked them out at the store) and put them in the closet after Christmas and I just remembered them so we got them out. 

Time for Night to Shine round 6!

He got to go on a limo ride 2 times and I got to go with him the 2nd time towards the end of the night.

 

He got crazy on the dance floor.

 

It was a pretty good night and he stayed the whole 3 hours.

The sunrise this morning was Valentines ready.

I lost a precious student today. 

He was the sweetest. 

My favorite kid the last 2 years. 

The best of us.

ICE STORM WARNING! 

We were out of school/work for 3 days.

Fiber optic heading our way. 2 hours ago they busted the water main. They have been doing that every couple days since Christmas. Most times it happens when I'm at work and is fixed by the time I get home. This time it was just down the street and after school hours.  Good thing for us it was leftover pizza night.
