Spring Break

We started out the week at home doing nothing really special.  

I watched the 1st season of The End of Us and got some decor for the house that I plan to get set up soon.

We had World Down Syndrome Day and planned to go to the grand opening of the new Sonic.  For a town that gets NOTHING, this is big!  However, the food delivery truck did not arrive so we went to Freddy's instead.

The next day Sonic was able to open so we went.  The food and service were great.  We were the 1st to sit on the outside picnic tables.

 

The 2nd half of the week we headed to Centerton to grandsit the nugget while Sahara and Jared went to Las Vegas for a surprise meet up with friends that were there for a birthday get away.

We went to The Blue Zoo. A new aquarium in Rogers.

We tried new foods and asked for more.

We had a picnic at the park.

In Vagas, Sahara, Jared, Mecca, and Zach

went to an ice bar...

Drove fast cars... played Top Golf...

Had lots of drinks...

and hung at the pool.

Night to Shine 2023

 Canyon had a blast again at Night to Shine.  !st time back after 2 years.  Weather was cold and raining so activities had to be all done inside.  He said he rode in the limo but no pictures of that so I really don't know.

After dinner, dessert, and choosing a boutonniere, he hit the dance floor.

After 2 straight hours of dancing, he was done and his escort called me to tell me so from the karaoke room. His best bud Logan wasn't able to come so unfortunately he was not up to his crazy self but still had a bunch of fun.
