New Homestead for the Hulls

They closed on their new home on my birthday, December 30, 2022!  Here is the house building progress which took just about exactly 4 months.

Their layout is the flip of this floor plan with the garage on the right.

Move in day!

The craft/game room  (4th bedroom) is full of things to go through and so is the garage but the storage building is cleaned out and they are in!

Christmas Christmas!

The peeps came this weekend so we sent a memo to the Jolly Man and he made a special trip down.  We made quick cookies for him. 1 m&m for the cookie and 3 for Liam is about how that went.

Looks like they are Santa ready!

The big guy showed so we are good to go!

Canyon was the gift passer person.  He pretty much did it all right.

I had to take a selfie to prove I was there.

Great gifts everyone!  Thank you so much!

After cinnamon rolls, coffee, and bananas, we got ready and went to the library for crafts and to meet the Grinch.

You can totally tell Liam is a daycare/preschool kid.  He was bouncing around like he owned the joint.

Not even scared one bit.

While leaving though, Liam was hysterically laughing to keep his braveness intact.

He loves eating at his new little table and had several snacks and a meal here.

We went out for lunch and then home for a nap, watched a movie, grabbed leftovers from lunch for dinner, and then went to see Christmas lights around town.

The next day they went to Jared's family to do Christmas there and then headed back home. It was a fast and fun weekend.

Polar Vortex Storm Elliot arrived and left us without power for 23 hours. It was the coldest we have ever been while in this state. 1 sink in my bathroom had frozen pipes but didn't burst and resolved itself the next day even though the high was only 16°.

On actual Christmas day, Canyon and I just hung at the house and listened to Christmas music and watched Christmas movies.  I made a small-portion Christmas dinner with stuff I had in the house including peach cobbler. We both had seconds and enough food left over for 2nd meal several hours later.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
