Annual Spring River Trip

Canyon, Sahara, and Liam went to the annual Spring River trip with James.  Liam gets to buddy up with his little cousins on his Pops side of the family.

 Westyn, Brentlee, and Liam

They got to stay in cabins this year so it was a lot more comfortable.

In town they got ice cream and hit up a build-a-Bear dupe like place.

They found a groovy hippy store too.

Lots of kicking it in the hammock.

Just a little sun burned and all safely came home so good trip.

More Baseball FUN

A few highlights from this years games:

He attempts to slide into home like he sees others do.

He hits a pretty good one on the 3rd pitch.

Canyon (4th on top) and some of the other 110 Field of Angels players

Memorial Day game and Canyon almost took out the pitcher!

Last game, The Day of Champions.

They do a dance party on the field.

They play a little and Liam was all over the place and is going to love baseball when he gets bigger. He ran all the bases with Canyon and he is sooo fast!

Then they all got their Championship rings!

Great season!

Play Ball, Wood Carving, and Balloons!

1st game of the season and it was a decent day. Haze and misting but not cold.

Liam had a blast on the field and even got some tips for when he gets to join t-ball.

Liam got to run to home with Canyon and they got the biggest cheers.

In the out field though, throwing dirt on mom was too much fun.

After the game we went to Balloons Over Russellville and the Wood Carving Festival.

We hit the play ground and got ice cream too.  Then we got lunch, stopped to see the zebra living near the Russellville Airport, and went home and took a nap.

Later we returned for the balloons.

Canyon and Liam got up
close and personal

Canyon got to get in the basket and pull the burner.  They guy was a little rough removing his hand but he might have had a good grip on it I guess.  Liam got a Spidey-Man face painting.

Area 17 Games

It's Special Olympics day!  It was supposed to be raining but luckily it was clear, but chilly and windy.

Coach was a no show due to a knee issue but we found our group eventually.  I have no idea why Canyon wasn't given a matching shirt. It's not surprising though.

We waited 4 1/2 hours for his 1st event and almost missed it due to he being put on the wrong list.  It's always something.  Very unorganized.

He also did the soft ball toss as no one local has a shot put for him to practice with.  The others he was listed with were all 6 feet tall so he was at a disadvantage and got 4th place.

He got 1st for the standing long jump!

It was a long day and we got pizza on the way home but at least he got to do it this year.  Hopefully we will hear in a day or 2 about if State is a go or not.
