Lights in NWA

My school's secretary crocheted this tree hat for Liam.
So cute!!

We went to the Bentonville Square for the lights.  It's so pretty there.  Crowded but we didn't bother with the hot cocoa line and just tried to stay away from people in general.

Then we went to the Bentonville Heart Lights.  Great as always.  The car line was at least an hour long but you can park behind the house and walk to it very easily so we did that since it wasn't freezing.

Here is the link for the video. I can't figure out how to get the actual video on the blog if it's longer than 10 seconds. The video below was of a very calm and 'blue' song.  I couldn't really hear the music from the cars to know what was playing.  I should have waited for something more upbeat for better colors.

Thanksgiving Break

Was a few days earlier than when I usually do lights, but I wanted to get the outside done before Sahara, Jared, and Liam came.

Then, when they arrived, we checked out the Pottsville tree.

Liam and I did some pre-turkey day work in the kitchen.

After Jared, Sahara, and Liam went to see family, they came back for another evening feast.
Wow!  This is a lot of food for 4 people!

The real turkey!

Later that night, a few minutes after we went to bed, Jared got the call that his papaw passed away.  He had been sick off and on for many years and currently was in the hospital doing very poorly.

They went to his visitation the next day and I decided to get out the inside Christmas decor.
5 hours it took me (2 1/2 on the tree) and I was exhausted.

They came back to the house barely after I finished and Liam was loving the lights.
Rare moment of Canyon actually interested in Liam in such close range.

Sahara bought an ugly sweater cookie kit.

And then break was over and 4 days went way too fast!

3 months

Liam is 3 months and doing great.  His herniated belly button healed itself really quickly.  He is way less colicky and usually only fusses to eat or to put himself to sleep.

Here are some compares with mom and dad.
Jared's eyebrows and ears. Sahara's eyes and chin.

We'll have to check again when Liam catches up to their ages, around 1ish.
BUT NO RUSH LIAM!!
