My Mom's Day

Even though the weather was less then desirable, I had a very nice Mother's Day.

The flowers were a free bonus acquired from a graduation party the night before. Sahara was told to take a centerpiece home when it was over.

Sahara got me expensive wrinkle cream (much needed)!

Canyon got me a beautiful crystal he picked up on a field trip.

Jared took me and his mom out to eat Mexican at Tarascos. Thank you kids!! ❤💚💜💙💛

Celebration

It's always a party in Canyon's classroom. Here they are celebrating their teacher's birthday with a dessert pizza :)

Salmon roses

My 15+ year old rose bush is still beautiful. It was here when we moved in, but I transplanted it from under the front windows to out by the street, I never water it or give it any attention at all. It has 3 roses (this one the freshest as big as my hand) and 14 buds.

RussVegas

So glad we decided to head here after the Rally.

We got there when the 1st balloon was operating. Should we??? Decided why not go all out and take the helicopter ride instead.

At the time they had 2 choppers. Then a 3rd showed up.

We took the black one.

Love = Love Rally

Who would have thought little ol' Russellville would have an equal marriage rights march? But they did. And we supported.

Over 300 people attended.

We met some nice people and when we marched down Main there was a lot of honking support going on.

We heard some speeches while having dessert after the march and saw a proposal. It was a good time.

Honors Picnic

I took a half day to meet with Canyon at Old Post Park for his school picnic.

He did a lot of swinging after hamburgers. He was quite a ham out with his classmates.

Scary day

Got a call from Canyon's school nurse today.  She said he had a seizure during PT.  Just sort of collapsed for a few seconds.  He spent the rest of the day at school as no one thought he needed immediate attention, but the nurse called his Dr and made us an appt for right after school.  We were told there that since it only lasted a few seconds and he seemed fine shortly after, they would document it but that nothing further needed to be done.  Since I didn't see it with my own eyes I don't know what to think.  It's been a nerve-racking day.

Beautiful Day

Saturday was so pretty. We went to the lake. Some schools were having prom so we got to see all the fancy dressers having their pictures made. Ran into family fishing. Sahara and I wish every day's weather could be like this. 

Field of Angels

First day of baseball. It rained all day yesterday so the game was postponed from 9 am until 3 pm. It was sunny, record highs, and the fields were pretty dry. Red team this year. They had enough players for 6 teams.

Basketball Party
