3RD Annual Buddy Walk

The first thing we stopped at was the bump and jumps.  Good thing here is that you don't have a time limit.  So Canyon stayed in there until Jared had to go in and get him out.

The theme this year was 'Rock and Roll'.

It took a couple tries to get Canyon to participate so he could get his star made.  He did not want to get the paint on his hand.

Finally, somewhat of a hand print.

He added his star to the others.

Our meal was a HUGE baked potato stuffed with whatever we wanted.

On the walk.

This year was a little disappointing.  Not as many people came (possibly because of the weather)  It was suppose to rain, but the rain stayed away until later that evening.
Also, the PA people called that morning to say they wouldn't be coming and the food was late getting there.
It's sad that people (businesses) are willing to donate, then back out or don't come through like expected.

Short Visit

On the way home from picking up their new MONSTER 5th wheel, Nana and Papa came to visit for a few days.

I had NO idea that the power lines going over my road that the school bus safely passes under were not safe to pass under for this rig!  Luckily Dad was driving slow and I watched as the lines rolled over each vent on the top.

Very nice inside with an island kitchen and leather recliners.

The dogs really loved it too and would be quite happy to go on a long bye-bye.

We also went to Arkansas Tech for open house, had Canyon's birthday party and went to the movies, went on a tour of RV camp places in case visiting again with the MONSTER turns too wet and staying here isn't gonna work.

Thanks for the visit!!!

By the way, the cable company and the electric company have both come and raised the lines 2-3 feet so at least that wont be an issue again!

Happy 14th Birthday

We celebrated Canyon's birthday a few days early because we had special guests this time!
Nana and Papa were here to visit.

Canyon's cake was a last minute pick-up at Wal-mart.  But it was fudge so that was good :)

Canyon got a 2-in-1 puzzle from Nana and Papa.

A new bed comforter for his new Razorbacks room from Mom and Sahara.

And Razorback letters to hang up too.

A tub of MEGA BLOKS from Aunt Kristy, Uncle Rodd, Caleb, and Emily.

Sahara got him another Hogs license plate for his door.

Jared got him a Razorbacks shirt and a police SUV.

His Grandpa
and Grandma and Grandpa Tom got him movies and cash.

Dad sent him cash too.

And so did Uncle Brian, Aunt Mel, Jason, Parker, Tobey, and Zoey

Paige and Jonathon came over and we all went to see Hotel Transylvania.

Back at the house, we put the puzzle together.

And play with the MEGA BLOKS

The licenses plate goes on the door...

...and the letters go up on the wall.

And the BLOKS are built up over and over again!!

I think he had a pretty good day!!
:)
